PAM-FORM, an application-specific industrial software, enables the realistic and predictive virtual forming simulations of non-metallic materials. Virtual manufacturing processes cover the forming of laminated composites, plastic sheets, fabrics, car carpets. As a unique simulation software in this field, PAM-FORM now benefits some prestigious industrial references which commonly resort to simulation in order to optimize their manufacturing process. ESI Group and Datapointslab, an expert materials testing company, have recently entered an alliance program to further leverage user's benefit by providing mutual clients with easy access to material properties in a "ready-to-use" format, as TestPak. Using TestPak, PAM-FORM users can get well characterized non-linear material models for plastics, composites, and rubber to simulate the different conditions faced by their components during manufacturing and use.
