Doosan Engine has set significant industry records in the low-speed marine engine segment, our mainstay business. We built the world’s first model equipped with an electronic control system as well the 14RT-flex96C, which is the largest-capacity diesel engine of all time. Our aggregate output for low-speed diesels also reached 50 million bhp in the shortest time ever.

We have been building models ranging from the L50MC to K98ME-C under license with MAN Diesel A/S of Denmark since September 1983.
DOOSAN-Wartsila
In November 1984 we signed a technical license agreement with Swiss-based Wartsila, under which we now build 2-stroke diesels ranging from the RTA48T to RT-flex96C.
